Our Partners

Our primary partner in PREDICT-HD is each of our amazing participants who volunteer their time and effort to make Huntington research breakthroughs possible.

Additionally, collaboration with researchers at the private and national level is what PREDICT-HD is all about. We are fortunate to work with the following organizations and foundations, in addition to home institutions at our sites throughout North America, Europe and Australia. Click on the links below to learn more about our partners.

National Institutes of Health (NIH)

PREDICT-HD is funded in part by grant funding from the NIH, through the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS).

CHDI Foundation, Inc.

PREDICT-HD receives financial support and works collaboratively with CHDI, a private, not-for-profit research organization which has the stated goal of increasing the understanding of HD and hastening the development of therapies.

Huntington Study Group (HSG)

The HSG is a non-profit group of physicians and other health care providers from medical centers in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South America, experienced in the care of Huntington patients and dedicated to clinical research of HD. PREDICT-HD is an official HSG study.

European Huntington’s Disease Network (EHDN)

The EHDN provides a platform for professionals and families affected by HD to facilitate working together throughout Europe. PREDICT-HD and EHDN have partnered to extend PREDICT-HD into European countries.

Huntington’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (HDNI)

HDNI is an international effort to establish resources necessary to study the application of neuroimaging measures as (surrogate) biomarkers in HD.
